Pro Tips from American Stone

Dig your basin hole slightly deeper than the AquaBasin height and back-fill with compacted gravel for stability.
Use a layer of 1″-1½″ gravel around the spillway lip to reduce splash-off and tone the look with natural stone.
Ensure your pump intake is clear of debris and properly secured to avoid air intrusion which can mar waterfall performance.
Always keep a small access panel to the basin lid for pump maintenance – don’t bury it under immovable rock.
Buy a little extra liner and pipe; it’s better to have a foot or two of extra than to struggle with a tight fit under rock.
